NO! I feel that marriage should be between one man and one woman. I would be in favor of law enforcement putting criminal charges on these polygamist. Do you know that they only claim one of these women as being their wife while all the rest are not seen as being married by law. This allows these woman to get well fare money because of being a single mom with no job. This is our tax money being thrown away. |

2 Sam 12 : 8 'I also gave you your master's house and your master's wives into your care, and I gave you the house of Israel and Judah; and if {that had been} too little, I would have added to you many more things like these!'
That was God speaking to David. He told him that he GAVE him many wives....he also told him that if it wasn't enough he WOULD HAVE GIVEN HIM MORE. Doesn't sound to me like God is against polygamy. |

YES! As long as everyone in the relationship are adults, the children are taken care of and there is no tax fraud or public benefit fraud going on, who cares?
Outside of religious issues, the reaons polygamy is illegal is because of things like fraud. The wives that are not legally married will claim to be single parents and get public benefits like welfare and food stamps that they dont need.
The polygamy raid in Texas really gives polygamy a bad name. I dont know what ended up happening, but the allegations of statatory rape and such is not typical of a regular multi marriage family.
