Why not...if 18 is old enough to get sent to Iraq seems like it's old enough to have a Budweiser. |

absolutely not!! that's all we need more drunks driving around, especially not teenagers! |

Only if the driving age is raised to 21. |

NO WAY - If anything ,it should be raised to 25.
Kids these days have enough to worry about without tossing booze into the mix. |

Why? Don't we have enough twisted wrecks of metal and bodies strewn all over the roads as it is? How ridiculous. Why do you think that vehicle insurance is highest for drivers up to age 25?
And as for the "old enough for Iraq" argument? Honey, the day the US government starts training people on how to drink responsibly is the day I might change my mind on THAT. |

Nope, unless of course you're in the military. If you're old enough to die for your country, you're old enough to have a beer. |

Abosolutley not. The human brain isn't fully mature untill the age of 25, and untill then, people are not completley capable of making solid judgements, or forseeing the total ramifications for their actions...who dosen't remember how stupid they were in their youth? Add alcohol to someone who isn't fully mature and it is a set up for many bad decisions with long lasting consequences. |

I was 18 when the drinking age was 18. There were lots of fights
when those this young drank too much. I know of one incident where a guy got into really bad fight. Today he has a steel plate in his head because of his injury. Drinking is not good for those between 18 and 21. Raising the drinking age is the best thing that ever happened. Many have been saved from harm when this happened. Trust me. I speak the truth. Best wishes. |

actually....they should criminalize alcohol, and decrim. marijuana. A safer alternative to liquid poison. |

absolutely not. 2 out of 5 crashes are linked to alcohol. why should we increase the chances of that happening. |
|

?

Hell no, maybe raised to 25!
Hey Charlie.....they are not allowed to serve real beer in Iraq...only near beer. |

yes so long as the driving age is raised to 21--actually beer should be OK for 18-it used to be in some states |

Maybe, but the legal driving age should be 21 for sure. Maybe even 25. Damn kids can't drive. |

nope. i think its good where its at. and if people want to drink who are underage they will do it anyhow. |
|

Common Sense

A. Drinking age is determined by state law.
B. If it becomes a "national" law... I suspect it will be 21 or above. |
|

BAnne

Well, I don't think it would change much. It's not like people wait until they are 21 to start drinking. |
