since India is one country and all people r one(brothers and sister) do u think there should b common law for all of us nomatter whatever our caste b.

yes, there should be but it is not possible as our leaders and officials won't allow this to take place. they will run short of issues for the elections.Communal problem is hot cake for our politicians. |

Yes, I strongly believe India should have the uniform civil code. Our country is a declared secular country. All civil code must be uniform, so that no community, caste, religion is benefited or deprived due to different civil code. Since every person in this country has the right of everything irrespective of caste, religion, etc, uniform civil code is a must. |

Our politicians need votes. If a political party makes uniform civil law, it will loose votes. Every political party needs power, and people give them power. If majority people dont like a rule, it never comes up ! |
