We have one in australia and it's graet because wherever a pedophile goes people either kill them or burn down their house or something, the pedophiles should all live in hell forever

Yes, not only that, but they should have to put signs in their yard to warn the kids. Not only that, but we should be able to buy those signs and put them in our yard to keep the kids off the lawn.

Yes,very much so,the public should have the right to know if there is a pedophile within their community,too many states have been slow in this regard,the safety of our children must come before any other issue that consumes of our lawmakers today.pedophiles should be given longer prison sentences and monitered ever so closely apon release if ever they should be given freedom,there is no excuse to have those sick people within our society period and if they stay locked for a lifetime,it is only a minor detail for the horror they inflict on our children,most ending in death of the child,the federal government should make a mandatory life sentence for pedophiles and mandatory death for those that kill our children after the horror they inflict upon the child

No, there have been too many incidents with innocent people being targeted.One was a paediatrician, the bone heads who attacked her didn't know the difference!.Do you really want such sensitive information available to such people?There is too much hysteria around paedophiles whipped up by the media. Children today are no more in danger than they were 50 years ago.I would incarcerate them until no longer a danger, and if that means life, so be it.So no to a register. Police only informed.

There clearly has to be a register, but it should not be made public. One compelling reason is the risk that people could be wrongly put on it, just as people were incorrectly identified as criminals by the CRB a few months back.

If you are ever going to release paedophiles into the community - and that's a separate argument - then you have to do it in a way that their lives are not endangered. That's just responsible governance.
