There are plenty of people on benefits who deserve them. Theirs is a meagre life and if you were faced with it you'd be screaming out for Prozac within weeks. Instead, direct your train of thought at benefit fraudsters. They are the lowest of the low.

Well from what I saw in the local newspaper it seems the government agencies don't even read benefit claim forms anyway. The headline on the newspaper a few days ago was about a woman who made up 17 children on her tax credits form and claimed Â£30,000 of the tax payers money in benefits.

On the form she said she had three sets of twins, two sets of triplets and five other children. And the best bit is that she gave birth to 5 of the children in a three month period. And shes only 26.

Does nobody actually read the claim forms?

If no one in the UK worked, there would be no NHS, DSS, state school, It would be the old and the young that would suffer as they need the most help, one they have already put into the pot(old) and two if there's no schools how will they learn, it would go back to the poorhouses of the 1800, people saving to death, you fool, we all like been on holiday but could you image never having anything to do all day but be a lazy lump of lard..................not for me

Would you trade the sense of accomplishment, security and stability of your own job with possibility for advancement in salary, etc. all for a 300 inch TV? (if one existed)

No matter how much money some people may be getting by claiming benefits, the one thing they will never get is SELF RESPECT. And that is priceless.

Not all family of prisoners get free travel. Some may be issued a travel warrant from a charity.
A lot of prisons here in the UK, are in the middle of nowhere. A special bus is usually laid on so that families can visit. There can be a small charge.

Why not.We have enough foreigners to do the work and pay the taxes.West Berkshire have just put a family (12 kids) into a former hotel they paid Â£350.000 for.They then spent Â£150.000
on refurbishment.They say why work.Why should they.They get
over Â£50.000 a year on benefits.I hope someone down there burns them while they sleep.
