Given that every president who has gotten in legal problems has been pardoned or had his successors choose not to prosecute due to the alleged trauma that seeing a former president charged would bring, I would say that the president is pretty much above the law. |

no one, but this applies to citizens of the usa and not those who have declared war on us. and those folks are not subject to the geneva convention unless they have signed onto it. |

no that is the reason for the checks and balance provision of our government. there is always someone to watch and someone to watch the watchers. everyone is subject to the laws and as long as they get caught will be punished for those crimes in one way or another. |
