please, go to the police and report your uncle, this will only cause you MAJOR financial issues in the future... just get the police involved. take all documents and whatever evidence u have!!

My sister did the same thing to me and I pressed charges. Your uncle certainly wasn't thinking "but she's family" when he was using your SSN...It is a long hard road cleaning up your credit. I suggest you start now and with a police report it makes it much easier.

Report him...if you don't, when you turn 18 and for the rest of your Iife you wiII encounter heII. you may not be abIe to get student Ioans for schooI, buy a car or even a house....depending on how much damage he has done...there is a possibiIity you wiII never be abIe to get an apartment in your name, cabIe, phones etc. famiIy or not...doesnt give him the right to destroy your credit and Iife.

1. Go to the police.
2. Contact Social Security and see if you can get a new number assigned to you.
3. If you actually have checks, go to the bank and explain your problem and ask to discuss your problem with an officer.
4. Ask at school or at the bank or any other place you can think of for low cost help in straightening out your credit and related problems.
5. If they are going to get you when you are eighteen, then they have to have some kind of court order - find out what court and talk to them. See if you can get some kind of court appointed attorney to protect your interests if you think you need it. If you have a law school anywhere near you, see if they have a student run clinic to help people like you.

report him, like you said he's family and family doesn't do that shady things that like to each other. just do it because it might affect your credit history and everything. that means it will be harder to get a car, cell phone and a house. not to mention a job. good luck

Tell someone, and quick the more time you waste the worse your credit score gets. Low credit score means you cant buy houses or cars. ACT QUICKLY AND TELL SOMEONE

your uncle isn't going to get you what you need because because he ruined your credit, chances are his credit is shot which is why he did this in the first place. your financial credit is going to be very important when you become an adult, he didn't care that he was messing with your future why should you care about his feelings?

I would definanatly go to the police...Yeah he is family, but he screwed you over so I doubt he is thinking you will be extra sweet to him anyway. In addition to going to the police, you should get a lawyer. If your not EXACTLY sure what to do, look up a local lawyer and ask their opinion, some are nice to answer quick questions for you.

if you dont want him arrested but he stoled your ssn then i dont know what to say. but if that was my uncle i would probably confront him and tell him to give me my ssn back if he doesnt than you should go and report him to the police. good luck

Your credit can get wiped clean when you turn 18. when you turn 18 have you credit report pulled from all three agencies. then have them investigate everything that isn't yours.
