Statutory rape?

ok a guy friend of mine is 18 and his 15 yr old gf is pregnant her mom is charging him with statutory rape anyone have any idea how much troulbe he is going to be in. his record isnt the best. we live in iowa.

hes done.... this happened to a friend of mine he was 18 she was 14 he got locked up and is on Megans Law, which means he cannot attend anything with underage people there. ex, birthday parties, plays, school affairs, baseball games etc. hes a scumbag! weirdOo

its most likely that he will go to jail for a while because of his record not being the best

That would depend upon how long he's been 18 and how long she's been pregnant....either way, not a good idea to go for jailbait.

He is in a fair bit of trouble. My guess is he needs a good lawyer and in future to think before he acts. That was unnecessary. He should not have been dating a child.
