Sue for hair breakage?

Hi,

I bought extensions from a corporation. I experienced major hair breakage from the product. If resovling this myself how much should I ask for? If they dont respond then should I go through small claims or a lawyer?
Does anyone know any law that relates to this? Any advice thanks :)

On the package/box and in the info it doesnt say it may cause damage or anything along those lines.

All hair extension products clearly state, "use may result in hair breakage/damage." It's a well known fact.

This is a risk you take even when the extensions are fitted professionally, and the longer you use extensions the greater the risk.

Oh, the price we pay to be beautiful! Positive note, hair grows back.
