I majorly ****** up and lost the trust my parents had in me especially from my dad how can I regain their trust and how long will it take ?
Additional Details
The details is that I basically got a speeding ticket and tried to hide it from my dad who is a cop and I also had a few blunts in my car and then when he found out I tried playing dumb but it didn't work.
He grounded me and took away my car. I also screamed at him and slammed the door in his face because I was pissed that I got grounded.

Sorry, but being abusive to your parents who have raised you is not going to help the matter. They have the right to write you off of the trust which they have went through the process of securing for you .. Best thing to do is just to apologize to them and straighten out your behavior, then you might be able to earn their trust. Dont even think about that other trust for now, just be happy your alive and done be foolish with your life. |
