My husband is currently deployed and we are going through a divorce. I met someone else and got pregnant. Me and my soon to be ex have 2 children together. My CRAZY mother-inlaw told me that I am not allowed to move out of state with my children to the state that my boyfriend is in EVER...Please help as much as you can I really need some sort of information because I have a job lined up in this other state and I am looking to move within the next few weeks. Additional Details the boys father dosent want me to take them out of the state either but he is deployed and wont be home until Oct 09

If your divorce isn't final yet, it's probably not a good idea to move your kids. Child custody needs to be settled before you do anything. Or at the very least, you need to get permission from your soon to be ex to move. If you have full custody of your children, and I don't mean temporary custody, then you can move wherever you want to regardless of what your mother in law says. A lawyer or legal services would be your best way to determine whether or not what you want to do is legal or not. If you take the children without permission from your soon to be ex, he could go to the police. You need to make sure you have the legal right to move your kids. |

GET A SOLID ANSWER from a lawyer, before you move the children. In some states.. it IS parental abduction, and you might be charged. Each state is different.
Your mother in law may not be so crazy, sorry to tell you that. |
