Tenant/ roommate wont leave after 30 days notice. Now what?

I have a tenant / roommate who submitted her 30 day notice and now wont leave. What are my options? To add to the problem I have another tenant who was supposed to move in but now cannot, so I got screwed there now too.
This all takes place in California.

You need to file an "unlawful detainer" action. The link for the forms is below.
Its a little tricky so you might want to call a local attorney to help you. A good way to do that is get a referral from the County Bar Association or call Legal Aid if you cannot afford to pay someone.
You have to get a friend to hand your room mate the papers, and be careful to avoid conflict since you are living together... make sure you lock up your valuable stuff!
