Tesco want to get paid 2s!! on line, Help?

My friend was online shopping for today. after getting the delivery, she received a phone call from Tesco saying they have not received the payment, after checking the receipt they gave her after signing, it says payment required. now she says she won't pay them again, the driver obviously made a mistake. what is going to happen?

I wouldn't pay (Tesco of all company’s can afford to pay for their mistakes)... BUT i bet Tesco could hire enough lawyers to convince a judge black was white... (or vice versa!!!) Watch out! |

Driver has nothing to do with issuing receipts or taking money all he does is bring the print out of the order and you sign to say you've rec'd it. They shouldn't have delivered until the payment was processed |

From what you are saying your friend ordered the shopping online and must therefore have been prepared to pay for it. If the online payment has not gone through she will have to pay. If the online payment has gone through Tesco are in the wrong and she will not have to pay twice. Get you friend to contact the disputes department of her credit card, they will tell her if a payment has been taken. |
