So basically what you are saying that as you have a child and are not working therefore not contributing to the finances of the state that the state should look after you for ever just because you have no skills.

Get real. If you don't contribute then why should you get something out of it.

There are jobs out there for unskilled people go and find one and contribute rather than just breeding and expecting something for nothing.

A person with no skills and no education and no access to childcare or other resources should seriously consider NOT BREEDING. Having a child is an option, a choice and a person who is does not have the resources to raise a child (job, education, support) should NOT be having kids. Duh.

The government should not have to be responsible for people who are by choice wholly irresponsible.

First of all, i wish to inform you that benefits although are paid from general taxation, are also paid in relation to your national Insurance contributions.
I was brought up in the days when there was no benefits system or national health service. There was no such thing as Social Security, Tax credits etc. if you were sick and needed a Doctor, you had to pay the Doctor before he crossed your threshold. If you couldn't he wouldn't treat you.
I was the youngest of three brothers, and my father worked in the building trade. In winter, if my father was unable to work because of frost or Snow, he wasn't paid, so my father went selling firewood to make some money. I would tie the sticks in bundles as he chopped it.
Then it happened that my father was out of work one year, but the council employed him digging trenches for new water mains. . For this he was not given wages, but a food ticket, which shops would exchange for food. Anothr time my father couldn't work because he had severe Bronchitis. We had nothing, but the only help you could get was known as "the parish". This was a parish charity that would help you, but you had to sell anything you had of value before they would help you. my mother applied for help from them , and 2 days later two men from the charity came to our house to make sure we had sold everything we could. They checked downstairs and upstairs, and told my mother That it seems like you have sold all you can, but you still have your wedding ring, so you can sell that to help you. So my mother didn't sell her ring, but pawned it. She eventually was granted 10shillings a week until my father was back to work. That is 50p in todays money to feed 5 of us! Now when I hear people like yourself going on about how difficult it is to manage, or having to work when your child is 7 years old, it makes my blood boil. You have no idea what hardship is. When I was 7 , I had to go to school in shoes 2 sizes too big for me, because I had no other shoes to wear. That is poverty, but you will never have to live in poverty with this benefits system you have today. So count yourself lucky you didn't live in the times I had to, and stop your moaning.

Well sorry to say, but those are the consequences of getting pregnant and not having a career or at least a good job. And lets see if you have no job than what taxes are being paid?? The taxes someone might pay for everyday purchases would not even touch the ammount received by a welfare recipiant.. It is absolutely rediculous to think someone else should have to take on a burden because someone else just doesn't want to do it for themselves..What in the world did people do before welfare.. People rely too much on these programs because it is the easy thing to do.. I say get off your lazy behind and take reponsibility for yourself..

so, go get a job,,,go back to school,,,,,no skills ? then go back to school ..no child care,,,how about a husband watches them and the wife works and then the husband goes to work and the wife watches them ,, they can take turns,,,oh. no husband, then work when the 7 year old is in school...or pay your baby sitter,,,,welfare is an excuse to be lazy and smooch off of others..
