Not watching movies over and over again, but sneaking into an R rated movie. What happens if you get caught? Call to parents, ban from theater ( how do they know they banned you ), etc. What happens?

It's basically stealing, which is illegal. Usually they just toss you out, but if they really wanted to, they could get the cops involved.
I guess you could say it's like "borrowing" somebody's else car without them knowing. If the guy found out, he's gonna be pissed. If somebody stole your car, you know your options...(kick his ***, tell him never to do it again, call the cops, ask for something back, etc.) |

its not really illegal but you do cheat the system. it really depends on how the theater handles it. But if they do catch you, they can call your parents, ban you, etc. they can do whatever they want but most likely, they will not call the police. if you are going to hop, be safe |

Technically it's illegal. Theaters have to enforce the ratings code or risk loosing their business license. If you're caught most likely they'll just kick you out. Too much hassle to call your parents or the cops for such a petty offense.
Back in the day I've been booted out of a few theaters for trying to sneak into R rated flicks, all they did is show us the door. As far as banning goes not likely unless you've been dumb enough get caught several times or make a scene. Just don't try and come back again on the same day.
EDIT: I remember there have been a couple occasions where the usher just made us go back to the movie we paid to see. However trampling on their generosity a second time always resulted in ejection. |
