my husband and I both work should we expect to see a check in the mail? or are we jsut getting nothing out of this I know the people that are on ss ssi ssdi or va are getting a 250.00 check and unemployment is getting extened for some and the people that are receiving help from the state are or have got some but what about the working families? all we get is maybe if were lucky 10.00 added back into our checks that we worked for in the first place? am I right or what is going on with that

So you would rather get a check for $250 instead of getting about $1000 less taken out of your paycheck (assuming both work, paid weekly, and getting $10 more a paycheck spread over 52 weeks). |

All of the information you stated is correct.
Unless you are included in one of the categories
you mentioned the only, "break," you'll get this year
are the tax reductions. No check. |

Less is being taken out of your checks for income tax.
The big gains everyone will get will come from economy recovery, reversion to a union-friendly set of rules, and reversion to a less regressive, more progressive income tax.
If you don't want the money, send it to me.
BTW, that's vastly better than I got under Bush's tax cut, which was 14 CENTS every two weeks. |
