Hey everyone my friend just had this happen we need help
He. Is 17 with a provistional licence on pbj in our state of MD for speeding
We just got into an accident in nj on a trip he cliped a guys rear light with his mirrior when going into the left side of the road to turn left.
He got a ticket for improper passing a 4 point offense. Statute 39:4-86
Our question does this transfer back to his md licence? If it does what will happen?

Yes, it was transfer as everything is computerized. I am sure that the NJ officer looked at your friend's driver's license from Maryland.

Can your friend get to NJ for the hearing? If so, he might want to try and plead no contest in exchange for a withhold of adjudication. (You do it that way and no points put on.)
