Underage drinking: what could the legal consequences have been?

I live in the UK, and am 16

i recently went out with my sister (aged 19) and i borrowed her friend's (aged 21) driving licence. iv been out many a times with her to pubs, and bought drinker with her provisional, and been fine.probably not a good idea to use her friends
we tried to get into a nightclub, but the bouncer asked me about 'my' address on 'my' id, but i had no idea what it was (i was rather drunk by this time) so he said 'im going to call the police, wait there.'

so i legged it.

i thought he was making empty threats, but then i was applying for my provisional, and it said getting a licence under false pretences could get u a £1000 fine or 2 years in prison.

so what could have happened to me?? please note i am actually viewed as being a 'good girl' by most people, im not one of those teens who binge drink every week

You are still a minor so you can't get jail time... probably just a slap on the wrist by police... my advice would just be drink at house parties and count down the days until you are legal... thats what I did!

Well my best guess is that since your friend gave her your permission to use her lisence is that you would get fined. If you stole her licence, then you would have gotten jailed.
