WHAT IS A VOID CONTRACT?

PLEASE GIVE ME A GOOD DEFINITION AND WHAT ARE THE FORMAL AND INFORMAL PARTS of it.

A contract does not become void if it is breached. It is voidable. There's a big distinction between void and voidable contracts.

A void contract is one that is invalid even when it is entered. For instance, if the contract is illegal (like a gambling contract entered into in a jurisdiction where gambling is illegal), it is void. It is absolutely unenforceable by any party at any time.

A voidable contract, on the other hand, is valid until it is challenged by a party. For instance, if a minor enters into a contract with an adult, the contract is still enforceable by the minor. The minor could also disavow the contract and it would become invalid.

A void contract is a contract that is not valid because there is no meeting of the minds or something was not performed (breech).
