No, you need to tell your family. Also when and if he calls you, record the conversations so you have proof for the police. Then call the police and tell them what is going on. You can file for a restraining order. It's serious, don't take it lightly. Best of luck to you.

You need to contact the police department and you need to take out a writ to keep him away from you. Also, let Guido and Carmine know he is threatening you, they'll take care of him.

Save all of his messages and go to the police station and file a complaint- tell them you want to press charges. If the police won't take your complaint then go talk to the district attorney and explain what's happening.

If that doesn't work you can go to the state police...

I went through the same thing. Definitely change your number. And as soon as you see him show up any place call the police. Also try and get a restraining order against him, that way if he does come in contact of you he can be arrested.

i would definately get family and friends involved mayb move in with a friend or family memeber till this gets cleared up. If you find it really threatening and u think he could b serious i would take it to the police just to b safe. Cause i mean what it could come down to is your life or just being a little extra causious. So hope i helped :) Good luck with everything. Be carefull

Call the police. NOW. If you wait any longer, he might try to hurt you and your new boyfriend. Save the messages he sent to you for the police. Then they can trace his email and lock him up. He deserves that for threatening you.
Tell your family, too. They'll understand and your parents will know what to do. I'm Italian too!.. I know what you mean about the war :P

Go to the POLICE ... don't just 'call' and talk to the patrol person who comes to your house, but GO TO THE STATION and tell them about these threats ... take recordings if you have them and BE SURE SOMEONE LISTENS to them while you are there. Leave a COPY of those threats with them, but also BE SURE you have a copy of them for yourself. If you know where this STALKER lives and works, tell them BOTH addresses, and tell them that you WANT A RESTRAINING ORDER against him, and you want it SERVED (he may have moved and changed jobs, so this is a problem, but the POLICE need to KNOW if that has happened because it INCREASES the chance this person will attempt to kill you). TAKE THESE THREATS SERIOUSLY. Too many women have been killed because they thought the person 'threatening' them was 'just kidding.' This person is a STALKER and you'll need to be 'very aware' and keep meticulous track of what he does and says to you, and EVERY time you 'see him' ... and REPORT TO THE POLICE frequently if you notice any 'increase' in his contacts with you. DO NOT 'get your family involved' but do INFORM THEM THAT YOU HAVE BEEN THREATENED! Let the Police 'do the work' ... but YOU BE CAREFUL!

You need to tell your family so they will alert of any suspicous behavior. I would probably get my number changed. More than likely he is all talk anyway. Bad thing is, unless he actually comes to your house the police aren't going to do anything about it. Has he contacted you enough for a restraining order? That way if you see him nearby he can be arrested.

Call the cops and (if you have one) play the recorded message. After they have enough evidence, you can get a restraining order or something. Don't stop your life for a creep like that.

this is a very serious situationt that must be handled carefully. Absolutely tell your family, make sure they know what has been going on and show them the messages. Good job telling an officer but if this officer does not seem to think it is a prob tell a different one. even if you think that your ex would not do what he says it is better safe than sorry. BE CAREFUL! maybe stay with family and never walk alone. keep a cell phone with you at all times and make sure you know your self defense. and remember to let the police station know, threatening is illegal and your ex should be put in jail for this. again be safe and careful.
