I'm a landlord and I filed a wage garnishment against my x tenant work. Yes, I have a judgment. The sheriff's served her work, however her work will not respond to the sheriff's judgment. They have 15 days. What can I do next? Please don't respond and say contact an attorney. And Yes I have contacted her work.

If the work refuses to honor the court order, then you must go to the court and request a contempt ruling against the work.

Are you sure the person is an employee and not a subcontractor? I used to manage Taxi drivers but they were all self employed. They technically paid me, not the other way around, so I was able to ignore wage garnishments. Are the 15 days up yet? if so, have you filed a complaint charging contempt of court? (through your local States Attorney or DA) I am not a lawyer, I am just brainstorming here.
