When I was in high school, I was standing in the lunch line to get something. Two boys who were in my grade were standing behind me. All of a sudden, I felt a quick touch on my butt and then I heard them giggling. I never turned around to inquire who did it. Was that molestation? I have trouble distinguishing the difference between molestation and rape. I did not call the cops or anything. I might have told some teachers and my mom but don't remember.

No. It depends on how they "touched" you.
I've been slapped on the butt numerous times by guys, and once in first grade, some guy even tried to look in my pants.
It's not molestation if they just touched your behind.
Look up the word "molestation" and then look up "rape", see what the difference is in the meanings, and that oughta help some. If it doesn't, you can come back on here and inquire about the difference, I guess. :
Don't worry though, you weren't molested. Just inapropriately touched.

That's not quite molestation. Definitely harassment though. However, it's not something anyone will acknowledge if you did try to do anything about it. |

Theoretically yeah, someone touched you in a inappropriate manner. That's molestation. |

The BEST thing a lawyer could do, if he/she would entertain this, AND you were able to identify who did in fact do it (which you can't, since you didn't turn around)... would be simple assault.
