What's the concept of recidivism.?

Meh

Recidivism is when something repeats an undesirable action despite receiving negative feedback. It's usually used in terms of people who have been to prison and, upon release, repeat the behavior that sent them to prison in the first place. You may also hear it when talking about people who have been to treatment for alcoholism only to return to drinking.
