What Happens If I Report Violators To The "Do Not Call Registry"?

My registration is up to date, I have never let it lapse. Yet I'm being bombarded by calls. These are not charities or businesses/services I have ever used or contacted. They are unsolicited sales pitches. They are recordings that go on for several minutes even after you hang up. I live with my mother. She is 81 and has serious health problems. If I had to call 911, I couldn't get through. Cell phone reception here is practically zero so I can't count on that. I want to put a stop to this before something happens. If I report will anything be done?

Yes, they speak English with American accents.
