If you are old enough to die for your country, then you are old enough to drink, get married, and vote. In fact, you can do anything that isn't illegal. Go for it and have fun doing it! Whatever it is.
I got married young and it was tough. In fact we had to do without for many years, but now my kids are older and I have my life to enjoy them as adults. I see many people who have children when they are close to 40 and I am almost horrified. When their kids are 20 they will be 60. Talk about a generation gap! I am all for people having their kids young because I believe that there is a much greater downside to having them older. I have known many people that waited till they were older only to find that they couldn't have children anymore. Talk about a bitter pill to swallow. |

If you lower the drinking age then all of the 18 year olds will buy for the 16 year olds . Too young .
Drinking 21
Voting 18 |

I think my age should be lowered to 26. If I can keep the 60 years of experience. |

drinking age shouldn't be lowered. Damages young brains. |

The driving age should, without a doubt, be raised to at least 18. Most 16 year olds just aren't mature enough to handle the responsibility of driving. |

I don't think it's so much the age factor. I think everyone should get a psych eval. before they can drive, get married, get pregnant and drink.
I think if you are old enough to serve our country then you should be old enough to drink. That's the only thing I have a problem with |

all limits should be cut off at 18.
let's see, 18 year olds are considered adults in the court of law and are punished as adults, yet they still don't have the right to drink in some places? i think there's a form of double standard right there. |

I don't care which ones should be raised, I just want mine lowered. I'm 50 and I'm fading fast. |

well in uk drinking age is 18, think it should be raised to 21. marriage? keep it the same, we all make mistakes whatever age we are, when it comes to love. but then again, 25 sounds like the right age for marriage, then you get 3 kids in tow to be bridesmaids and an usher,, lol. my daughter is getting married next month to the father of her 3 kids, shes 27, kids are 8. 4 and 15 months. so whats the point in raising the marriage age. drink causes more harm , |

Driving 21
Drinking 25
Smoking 21
Voting 21
Marriage 25
Drinking & Driving & Smoking While married heading to the polls to vote = Priceless |

i think the drinking age should be left at 21 only in an effort to prevent drunk drivers who are so young. i know kids will drink anyway... but at least if its illegal maybe it'll save a few lives by TRYING to deter drinking and making people think twice. i know its not just kids who drink and drive... but they already don't have good driving skills and don't need possible alcohol in the mix.
as for the marriage age, i never thought of it but 21 sounds better than 18! i can't image someone marrying that young |

I'm perfectly fine with drinking age. Voting age too.
However, I wouldn't mind them bumping up driving age to 17.
Marriage age? I was 20 when I got married and have done ok. |

I think you shouldn't be old enough to join the military if you're not old enough to drink, so I agree with lowering the drinking age. |

no way....keep the drinking age at 21....teenagers ALREADY dont know how to drive....then put alcohol in the mix....thats not good....the voting age should be lowered....smoking age raised.... |

Drinking and Voting at 18 and smoking should go up 1 a year until it's completely illegal |

drinking lowered to 18. if youre old enough to die for your country at war you're old enough to have a beer at a bar. |

i think, that if you can go into the army at 18, you should be able to drink at 18 |

I don't think the drinking age should be lowered. But I can see raising the marriage age to 21. |

I agree... If you are old enough to die for your country, why can't you drink? Good question!! |

i think that marrage should be over 21 because way too many people get married too young, then the divorce rate sky rockets. I hate our society. And no drinking should still be 21, even though kids can still get booze at 18 ... its a bit safer to keep them off the streets . |

I think it only fair that if someone is considered old enough at 18 to marry, join the army, and enter into legal contracts, they should be allowed to drink.
I think the full retirement age and age you can receive Medicare should be lowered to 62. |

i agree the dirnking age should be lowered to 18, but i disagree about the mariage age. I think you can get married whenever you want as long as your 18. Teens back in the day usto get married really early and their marriages did mostly manage to survive even up till now (ex. my grandparents ever since 17), but it's today's media that is the reason people view marriage as if its nothing. Well i would say no, but since people don't take marriage seriously anymore like at all i would raise the marriage age to 25. |

i agree. If were considered adults at the age of 18 we should be able to drink at 18 too. |

I agree with the first guy, people should be free to do whatever they want after age 18. |
