What am i looking at if i am going 2 court for being an accomplace in a beer run.?

this kid did a beer run, and i was the driver.. we got stopped, and i am now being charged with transportation of alcohol as a minor, and accomplace 2 a robbery.... could i be looking at jail time and what could my fines be.. its my first thing ive ever done... what exactly am i looking at when i go 2 court.... please help...

So, You stopped at the store and your friend went into the store and came out with beer. Was he 21? You thought he bought it. Was he not 21 then you thought he had a fake ID and bought it. You would never imagine he would steal it. Yes you know it is wrong to transport alcohol and you will never let it happen again.
If you knew that he did it and you saw him do it then... you must admit you were wrong and you decided that "being in the cool crowd" is not worth getting in trouble.
Do you have good grades? Is this your first offense? You are probably gonna get off easy. Like community service. However if you are in trouble a lot then you probably deserve the Book! |

Transporting alcohol as a minor is going to be the least of your worries. That could result in a fine and the loss of your driver's license for a year or two.
*** EDIT *** I see that by reading your other questions you are 15 and this happened in New Hampshire. The law there is SB 355-FN ::: Any person under the age of 21 years who has in his or her possession any liquor or alcoholic beverage, or who [is intoxicated by consumption of an] has consumed any alcoholic beverage, shall be guilty of a violation and shall be fined a minimum of $300.
Being an accomplice to robbery can land you in prison for many years. That's a felony. |

Ouch. So did you steal liquor? Was it opened? sounds like juvenile hall maybe, but hopefully your parents will get you a great lawyer and you'll get probation at the least.. you know, rake, fill bags, talk, wear orange, blah, hopefully you have learned a lesson from this one |

i heard on the news a while back some 16 year old kid saw beer in someones garage and stole it....his first offense....he was charged with burglary, breaking and entering, , posess o f alcohol, n some other bad felonies. they made an example out of him by sentencing him to 10 years. you'll prob just get fined and lose your license, comm service. good luck |

most likely 6 mos probation and up to $300.00 fine. your license could be suspended if it's probationary. this is Manitoba law, i don't know where you live but i'm sure it will be similiar.you won't get time for it. |

Since robbery was involved it depends if you can manage to get a (good) lawyer or decent public defender if you/your parents are broke. If it was just beer most places you would get a ticket and community service, but it really depends what state you live in and how they deal with minors and alcohol. I'm in a state where it would cost you a $5000.00 fine.
The robbery part is more serious. Any halfway decent lawyer can easily show you were just the driver and didn't know what was going on (at least for the robbery part) that is, unless you were stupid enough to knowingly participate in the robbery. |
