My mom keeps her gun in a case in the trunk of her car. She has a carrying permit but I'm not sure if the carrying permit really says she can have it in her car...who knows. I've never even held a gun before..

I know it is illegal to carry a water pistol into a Yankees or Mets stadium. This is all I honestly know about gun laws in NY!

Did you try google first?

No. very strict, in my eyes a violation of the second amendment... but it's their state, they make their own rules.

Even most NY'rs wouldn't be permitted to carry guns...

there are ways, but I ethically can't advise you on that.
