Good people as i hate people that cant obide by double yellow lines and disabled parking spaces as it causes nuisance for other road users.

Ive seen alot of them bullied and beat up recently though in my town by agravated drivers lol, they take pics of them on there phone to prevent the assaults and catch people who abuse them.

People should learn how to drive and read the road properly then there wouldnt be a problem

they're doing a job just the same as you and me.

let's put it this way - if people didn't park illegally there wouldn't be any need for them would there?

...oh and for the person who mentioned commission - we didn't get any!!!

I think that they are a good idea but i dont think that they should get commision

Well, we do park where we want to sometimes, especially when we need to rush into a shop and quickly get going, traffic wardens are given to us as a warning, keeping the streets clear from cars. emergency services can have issues about certain roads, where cars block the access, so in that case traffic wardens can be a help. I often wonder what type of people would be traffic wardens, and now i have come to the conclusion that they are police wanna be who were too thick to get into the forces but want to practice there bully tactics on others, people who like authority and lve to make you squirm, I have a very low opinion of them.

Salt of the Earth these people. always trying harder in there daily work- load to impress there bosses and get promotion from just being a Tw**
to being a F*****G big Tw** with a camera and a ticket book and a pure dislike to all man kind

A necessary evil really. I wouldn't like to do that job, but if it was the only job they would give me, I would take it and stick a parking ticket on all the posh cars..... but leave all the poor people alone.

They do a tough and necessary job for which they get paid relatively little and sometimes have to put up with abuse and even violence. Even if they can sometimes seem officious, they're only doing a job. We usually get tickets because we have actually parked illegally and know we have. Without them our roads would be even more clogged up with parked vehicles.
Still didn't like getting a London congestion charge for entering for 2 1/2 minutes.

On the one hand, I understand that they are needed as otherwise be an even harder place to drive if we parked anywhere! However, I have also been on the receiving end of tickets being given in error and they seem so smug about it too! Documentaries on TV also show the extent of their under handed ways.

As long as their idiots who believe they can just park anywhere at anytime then they are a necessary evil.

I think they are absolutely necessary. I live in a densely populated area where everyone has two or more vehicles. It's an old city, never designed for today's traffic with narrow streets. It is only because the traffic wardens do such a great job that everyone is frightened to death to park on corners which in this town is more of a problem than parking on yellow lines. God help any emergency services that have to negotiate our narrow roads.

Zameeey!
Anoying, becas you never know if there gonna come or not!
