I am against abortion unless a woman is raped. If you are capable of making a child, then the man and woman should accept their responsibility and care for the child.

I Saw a video of a little baby's body parts being taken from the mothers womb and I cried and cried as I have never cried before and I am a grown man who rarely crys.Its something though that is up to the mother.partial birth abortion should be made illegal. if a child gets to a point where it will survive out side the womb.then it should be allowed to live.It is murder,Yes it is. but the women is attached to that baby. It is hers. and hers alone. not yours.not mine. and if you outlaw it it would cause so many problems. for people who still wont to have an abortion.It needs to stay legal to have abortions. I have thought and prayed about this.and I really dont actually know. I dont know Gods will. I am just a human.

I am a very reluctant pro-choice. I cant stand the thought of abortion but do not feel I have the right to tell someone what to do.

Tthe problem I DO have with abortion is those women who get them are not educated enough about the development of their fetus. Fetuses start to develop brains, heads, and hearts within the first 3 weeks of conception and to destroy that is to me, taking a life. I wish women to know the full stage of development of where their fetus is at before making their decision.

As a liberal-libertarian, this is a source of disconnect between me and my compatriots. I believe that abortion should generally be illegal, especially in and after the second trimester, unless there is a serious birth defect to the fetus, or in cases of rape, incest, or health to the mother. I further believe that the right of the father, where he is responsible and maintains an interest, should have the right to have some influence over the decision whether or not to have an abortion.

While I respect the independence and authority of the Judiciary, and don't suggest circumventing Roe v. Wade, I do believe it was misguided. The contrived argument doesn't hold water. We don't have the right to do anything to our bodies for "privacy", e.g. we can't do drugs, and the latter doesn't involve (arguably) a life.

Constitutionally, since this isn't a power reserved the Federal Government, it should be a State Issue.

I'm against it. I believe it is killing a person. Not because of any certain religious belief but because of what science says. Abortion is not a theological or ethical question, it is a scientific question. Anyone that studies embryology will tell you that a human's life begins at fertilization. People who say that it is not certain when life begins have never talked to an expert. I also have seen video of an abortion. I passed out. I don't do that sort of thing usually, but then again I don't usually see people get ripped apart and then have their scull crushed. I also think that abortion is causing many problems. Like a decrease in funding for social security and population decline. Some would attribute this to contraceptives but they overlook the fact that 1/3 of the conceptions since abortion was legalized have ended in abortion. That means our work force should 50% larger than it currently is. I believe that is a huge problem that must be addressed.

Abortion is WRONG.
1. It is murder. Fetuses are live humans, and yes, they have feelings.
2. We know murder is wrong, right? Or is there a problem with that as well? I know it is wrong because the Bible states as much.
There is no reason whatsoever for a child to be aborted. Millions of unborn babies are being aborted because they would be "a hindrance" to their parents. A hindrance! This is a person you are talking about! If this was sound doctrine, wouldn't all of our in-laws be dead? Honestly, people!
And as for the child of a rape victim, no, that child should not be aborted. He should be allowed the proper life that is due him/her.

As with any medical procedure it is the business of the person having it done. If that procedure is a sin then the person who had this done will be judged and punished by God. If this fetus is a baby as many people believe then this baby is in heaven.

To answer that question, you need to project the child's life and assess their quality of life.

First and foremost I believe it has to be the womans choice, as it is her body that will be making the sacrifice to carry a child to term and delivering it.

Is she in a loving relationship? Will it survive a baby? Babies add pressure to, not strengthen relationships.

If not, is adoption a fair suggestion? Can you trust an average couple to take care of the welfare of an adopted child? What quality of life will they have? Will the child feel isolated, or rejected by adoption later on in life?

Alternatively, keeping and raising the child with one parent. Does this provide a reasonable quality of life? Single parents have incredible difficulty in maintaining discipline. Are they going to turn out as juvenile delinquents?

I don't believe it should be a simple brushed off decision, but something to have a long hard think about. In either case a definitive no after 12 weeks

I think that it has it's place, mainly if a foetus is severely disabled. But I really don't agree with women having abortions because they accidently fell pregnant.

It's a personal choice. My personal choice is that I would never get an abortion but other women should also have a say over their own bodies if an abortion is what they choose.

it is a right we have. to many babies are being born to people who cant take care of them or not old enough. i dont believe the government should be able to tell me what i can and cant do with my body. i wish no one could get pregnant unless it was wanted but its not fair to the children if you cant afford it.
