I think legalizing would be good if only because it would take the thrill out of using it. It's not cool when it's legal.
My 2 cents. :) |

Legalize, regulate, and tax. People ought to be able to decide what to do with their own bodies. |

Less dangerous than alcohol. I say we should be like the Danes, ban smoking cigarettes in cafes, yet let them smoke weed. Funny stuff. Better for our minds, bodies than smoking cigarettes or drinking alcohol.
But, I'm kinda indifferent, I don't do any of the above. |

I'm for it. |

Sure. Legalize and regulate like alcohol. Which means each type has to be marked for potency. Nobody under 21 allowed to buy, and you can't use it and drive. Simple. That is what they do in some parts of europe and society over there hasnt crumbled. |

I think they should legalize it, especially for medical conditions. They could regulate it and tax the heck out it and concentrate on real crimes. I think like anything if it's used in moderation it's ok, especially if someone is just staying at home after using it. It helps with chronic pain and many diseases. Alcohol is more destructive and I don't believe marijuana is the "gateway drug." |

Too late man, I think you'll find I smoked it all.. |

I don't smoke, but I think it should be, what's the difference between that a drinking, too much drinking gets you in trouble so does too much weed. |

if weed is made less of a taboo, leagalized but also regulated it should be fine. look at amsterdam....its legal there and its less of a problem than it is here. |

Weed was only banned to try and make Blacks and Mexicans leave the US during the great depression. |

I think it could be legalized. It would probably help the economy for the government to sell it but undoubtly some would be quick to abuse it and ruin their lives. |

Forget War Buy More

Absolutely. Along with all schedule 1 drugs. Let's legalize it, regulate it, and tax the heck out of it. |

It should be legalized for medical treatments like Glaucoma and Cancer. If it can help these poor chemo patients feel less nausea why wouldn't we give it to them? There are legal drugs (Oxycontin) that are far more addictive and lethal than pot. I don't recall seeing any people come across my embalming table that have died because of marijuana but I get a lot of them that have died of prescription drug overdoses. |

Well don't do it but i think yes it's better than beer or hard stuff and at least you can still think right and do things you know your doing!and drive |
|

tax it |

It should be legalized. I don't do it, but enough people do it and are arrested for it. I don't want my tax dollar going to support them in jail. The government can tax it and use the money to stimulate the economy, pay for better public education and invest in America's aging infrastructures.
It should also reduce crime rate since it will be available without criminal conduct. |

if its legalized less ppl will buy it |

you get drunk you get rowdy and in trouble. you do prescription drugs you kill your liver and get addicted. you smoke cigs you get lung caner (among other things) and get addicted. meth coke heroin all wreck your body and get you addicted. weed pot mary jane reffer ganja smoke makes you feel good and sit on your couch. you decide and so will I. but i don't think well see a large scale legalization of weed in the next 20 years its to taboo. |

my views on this is simple, it's alright to consume a beverage and get high, but it's illegal to inhale a vapor and get high. it's all about what your forefathers did to get off. you know as well as i do that pot won't make you a idiot like alcohol and you can function normally and not run over innocent people in your car. ignorance is bliss |

I would legalize every narcotic known to man. Why? Because its none of your damn business what I smoke. |

I think it should be legal, its less harmful than alcohol or mcdonalds. People should have the right to make their own decisions.
and all the people against it, stop judging people for smoking no one is forcing you to do it why do you care. if i get cancer thats my problem so stop trying to change people. If people were just more accepting of other people and the way they are everything would be a lot better for everyone. |

All drugs need legalizing. not to mention everything other than stealing or intentionally harming others. |

Bad. Unlike cigarettes which may have a higher chance to kll you, marijuanna is a halucinajen.
If you look at ould documents from China in the early 20th century, the Chinsese people were plagued by the addiction to opium. Because of the addictions, the work force of China collapsed and greatly damaged the country's econamy and society.
The same effects would happen here. If legalized, people would live off marijuanna and greatly depress the economy of our country. Look at history all you pot heads. I dont care what you say, the country will run to **** if you legalize it. |

Once you require a [legal] license or permission, you have given up your constitutional rights, your protected freedoms, and your peace.
In the US, the two views that matter are the law enforcement position, and the grower position. |
