When you look at the sky, what color do you see? Blue. You always see blue. You don't see "clear", you see blue. Amazes me how some smarty pants can look at the sky and see blue, and tell us it isn't blue. So we go around saying that the blue sky is not really blue. Not very convincing. Even a child knows the sky is blue. Just ask them. |

I'm assuming you mean on Earth. It depends on the time of day and the weather. When it's cloudy it's a bluish gray. At night it's blue but it's so dark it looks black. On a sunny day it's mostly blue. At sunrise or sunset it can be orange or red. During twilight it's more of a bluish green. Also, I've seen the sky be brown or white from air pollution. Other planets and moons with atmospheres are just as interesting. Their colors depend on what gasses are in the atmosphere. Planets and moons with no atmosphere just have a black (and white sparkled) sky. |

i dont think the sky even has a color. its just...clear...pobably something up there that makes it appear to me blue...maybe the water..hmm GOOD QUESTION!!! |

The sky is clear, or slightly translucent gray on a smoggy day.
It looks blue when there are no clouds because of diffraction of the visible spectrum due to atmospheric gasses. |
