What do I do next?(legally in FL)?

Okay... long story short... I need to know how long after you file for a non jury trial will a date be set by the judge in Florida? Do they have a time limit? I filed for non jury trial on 3/20/2009 and have heard NOTHING from the courts. I have called and left messages with the judge's assistant and nobody calls me back! I want to get back to court and get this over with.... anybody know anything about this? Do I need to file something else? Why is it taking so long to set a date?

The website provided below shows you the order and what SHOULD happen pursuant to Florida Rules of Civil Procedure 1.200(a)(2) and 1.440(c). There are several legal procedures that must take place before the non jury trial including witness list and addresses (30 days prior) and names and addresses of all experts (60 days prior).

You have done your part. You might try calling the court clerk to find out if the order has been issued and the status.
