Sounds exactly like the bath party in Iraq before we put an end to that evil regime.

Soon after moving to Baghdad in 1955 Saddam joined the Bath Socialist party. In 1958 he took part in the coup that overthrew the monarchy and made Abdul Karim Kassem prime minister. After trying to kill Kassem, Hussein fled Iraq for Syria, then to Egypt. There he studied law and came under the powerful influence of Gamel Abdel Nasser. When Kassem was overthrown in 1963 he returned to Baghdad and joined the Bath Party's new government, which lasted only a few months. He spent two years in prison. By 1966 he was free and a party leader.

In 1968 Saddam was called upon to help bring the Bath party back into power. Iraq's new president was Ahmed Hassan al-Bakr, but Hussein quickly became the most powerful individual in government. He became chairman of the Revolutionary Command Council and worked relentlessly to get rid of opponents and put his friends and family in positions of authority. His first goal was revitalizing the economy in order to build up his military power. He had gained enough control by 1979 to push Bakr aside and become president. His next goal was to make Iraq the leader of the Arab World regardless of the consequences to the Iraqi people.

After Saddam Hussein became president of Iraq in 1979, he proved to be one of the most brutal and warlike of late-20th-century political figures. In 1980 he launched his country into an eight-year war with neighboring Iran that neither nation could win. In 1991 his armies invaded and annexed Kuwait. This aggression caused a massive United Nations coalition (composed mainly of the United States armed forces) to attack Hussein's forces in January 1991 in an effort to protect Saudi Arabia. Hussein also used his armed might against his own people, especially the minority Kurds in the north.

The Bush administration. Most republican politicians. They all think they are above the law. They dont want poor people to make it anywhere in life. That is why the public education system has failed so many.

i think the one's on here think that your USA goverment does not steal lie cheat & murder you got your life screwed up I'm not sure where you have been for the last 50 years but you should climb out of your cave and look whats going on around this Nation Police are KILLING innocents People war on DRUG not the TAX payer Yea right they have stolen billions of dollars from tax payers they have stolen from Men all across this Nation with child support Men are paying for chldren that do not even belong to them Hell i was told to pay when i was 16 years old no legal garduian at hearing i payed over $50,000,00 for child not mine proved thru DNA and still payed never married i was just a child my self what a great country that steals from it's pepole . it is all country's that steals from it's people Just ask GOD think of good and Evil EVil lurks every were but god is all of us even if you do'nt know it he is there hell i have had several millins of dollars stolen from me by Corporate America but that turns out to be own by our goverment Because Goverment work for Corporate America the one with the GOLD is the one who RULE's THINK GOD FOR LIFE Food for thought God forever, true words I say, words of wisdom for every day, kind and goodness lead the way & God will shine light in everyway those are words of wisdom for the day.
