I would have to say the same thing. It probably means you can't park there 2 hours before a ballpark event or 1 hour after. Then again that doesn't make much sense.
Maybe it means no parking UNTIL 2 hours before a ballpark event or 1 hour after.
Thats a trick sign. |

It means that I am not going to go to a baseball game. |

You actually answered your question. :) |

curious me
|
it means no parking other than the hours posted on it. |

Meconium Happens

You can not park there two hours before. You can not park there one hour after the game. You can, however, park there during the game. |

Correct. The P with a slash is the symbol in some cases for no parking. |

It could mean what you think it means or it could mean no parking except 2hours before and 1 hour after. But it's safer just to go with the no parking sign and ignore the other bit. |
|

charlie_mon
 |
It means the restrooms are closed until 2 hours before and 1 hour after the game. |
|

lilith971
 |
that's mean:
you can't park there 2 hours before of the events, and 1 hour after the event was end. |
|

The Girl Is A Geek
|
I would agree. I think it is also safe to assume that you may not want to park there during the event, either. |

You're right on. It helps keep residents front yard area clear. If those signs weren't there, they would fill up with cars, and then nobody would pay for parking which is bad for business and bad for city. |
|

What that means is, no parking there starting 2 hours before the game begins and until one hour after the game ends. No parking there for the entire time.
So if the game begins at 2 and ends at 5, then no parking beginning at 12 and not again until 6. |

I think it's anytime from 2 hours before the game through 1 hour after it. |

I agree with you and everyone else but I suspect there may be small print to the tune of:
"we reserve the right to tow your car at any time and blame your inability to understand vague and abbreviated English on our sign" |
|

pizzaman

it's a sign especially used for sporting events or areas where there are special regulations for parking privileges. |

Yes, sounds right to me too.
You'd think the city could come up with better instructions, right? I wonder what kind of answer the city would use if someone actually fought this one in court, saying that they parked there anyway. Using the defense that "I didn't understand the meaning of the sign, what does it mean?"It would be interesting. |

Yeah...it seems to mean that when ever you need that spot it is not available...and when you really dont need to be in that area...you can park there |
|

That is what it means- no parking from 2 hours before or one hour after the event |
|

I think it is a higher sign. I think God is trying to tell you that you shouldn't go to the ballgame. |
