Actually the list is huge! 83% of all native and migratory birds are protected by federal law, including their nests and feathers. Some species included are, bald and golden eagles, hawks and other raptors, barn owls, flamingo, egrets, and on and on.
Some eagle feathers are allowed and designated to Native Americans for ceremonial/ritual purposes. But hunting the species is against federal law.
