I saw a college student on my jury panel fall asleep and said she didn't hear the question because she studies all the time, they excused her.

if you have a medical or mental excuse and have your doctor write a note you will be excused.... once you are there they will ask you questions related to the case all you have to do is respond strongly to their questions, if they ask about drunk driving, you say you had a friend hurt by a drunk driver and you hate drunk drivers etc... just respond similar to what ever the case is about... and you will be home in time for dinner...lol...

tell the people who are in charge you are sure that all humans are capable of committing a crime and this person is most positively guilty and should be shot.

Just say that you can tell if a person is innocent or guilty merely by looking into their eyes. You've been able to do this with certainty your whole life & don't even need to hear evidence.

I'm the sole caretaker of my 88 year old uncle so i don't have to sit on a jury in his lifetime.

Why don't you wear a sign that reads: "I'm a responsibility-shirking $h!thead, even though I enjoy all the rights, freedoms, and amenities my tax dollars and country provides for me. I'd rather be home watching Tivo and eating tacos, but if I ever get wrongly accused of a crime, I still expect a fair trial with an impartial jury of my peers, because selfishness and double standards are the American way-- and I'm an American ($h!thead)."

doctors note, norefundable tickets, there's quite a few excuses. Removal? say you believe in the death penalty and respond with "It's against my religion" Guaranteed to get you out of there and fast.

they look for people who dont agree with their views the system is suppose to be balanced those for and against and some people's views are so extreme that the lawyers dont take them into consideration

I've always used whatever they're looking for, I'm not. I actually was asked "Are you a racist?" My answer was "I'm Sicilian, we hate everyone equally." DISMISSED!!!

I saw this lady tell the attorneys, during the questions that the jurors are asked, that if she was voting against the rest of the jury and it was time for dinner, she would change her vote so that she could go home and feed her family. She was dismissed for cause.

I was dismissed from the same case due to my old occupation.

tell them that you think gays should be married. tell them you hate all black people though i am sure you don't ond or tell them you dont believe in the justice system.

When asked if you can be impartial and vote on the evidence,
answer no, stress how you cannot be impartial and that not everyone isn't innocent until proven guilty. Finish up by saying that "the defendant just looks guilty to me". LOL.
