So... I'm asking this because I'm just worried. My brother (who lives in Kissimmee, FL) was put on probation for a misdemeanor marijuana possession charge. He took care of about 3 months worth of the 6 months probation (I paid for the 3 months because he couldn't) and then I moved back to Michigan to go back to college and told him he needed to pay the rest with his tax return. He didn't pay because he didn't have the cash, they put a warrant out for violation of probation, and was arrested this morning and is now in jail waiting to be expidited to Daytona Beach where the charge originated from.
He has no other charges, was arrested because a friend was driving drunk, hit a tree, and the cops ID'd him, and they took him because of his warrant for not finishing his probation.
I was just wondering, out of others knowledge or personal experience, what are some possibilities for sentences. He has no other charges in his past either. I'm just worried about how this will turn out.

Let me make it a little clearer, they are coming to grab him in the morning, 9am, he has a courtdate set already in Volusia County (Daytona Beach) at the end of the week.

The result of violating probation is that you get to serve the underlying sentence. So if he was sentenced to 6 months, but allowed to serve it on probation, the possible result of a PV will be that he'll have to serve the 6 months.
