What is the statue of limitations in Illinois for probation violation (probation is for a misdemeanor)?

The statute of limitations is the time from the discovery of the crime until prosecution. If you are on probation, the prosecution has completed, so the statute of limitations no longer applies.

If you violate probation, they can issue a warrant. The warrant has no expiration date.
