They should always impose the death penalty when the person or persons involved in a horrific event, including being a pedophile have been found guilty! Did you all know that the average pedophile molests 150 children in their lifetime. Well if you can do some basic math you will understand why they should impose the death penalty on those "SICKOS"

- Mistakes happen. In the last 35 years in the U.S., 130 people have been released from death row because they were exonerated by DNA evidence (DNA is not available in most homicide cases).

- It costs taxpayers MUCH more to execute someone than to imprison them for life.

- It is not a deterrent - violent crime rates are HIGHER in death penalty jurisdictions.

- It is inconsistently and arbitrarily applied.

- Jesus was against it (see Matthew 5:7 & 5:38-39, James 4:12, Romans 12:17-21, and John 8:7).

- Life without parole (LWOP) is on the books in most states now, and it means what it says. People who get this sentence are taken off the streets. For good.

I support only in cases of flagrant cases offense . Other would put at risk the lives of innocent people. Certainly the rope blow on the weak.
In the case of Saddam and Bush, I think both should be hanged.

If they can't be fixed, able to control themselves in society, we will never release them anyway. What would be the point of society having such a parasite. Cut it off.

Seems to be too harsh. But nope! It is just. Well, only if the guy to be punished has passed from the court four times 1st (different courts) and if his crime was murder or more. You know, he/she 'll be free after the punishment.

the way we do it today is filled with bureaucratic loopholes, over expenses and constant legislative battles over whether their is pain involved with the death to the validity of the evidence against the criminal, and generally makes those criminals sit on death row for years.

To me, once evidence against the criminal is overwhelming, and the death penalty is proportionally with the crime, the man should be put to death almost immediately after his conviction. Just kill him with some kind of poisonous non-painful concoction (like they do anyways).

as for the morality of it, there is nothing inhuman about it, for the crimes those men or women committed made them lose their humanity completely, and all you would be killing would be an empty shell of soulless evil.
