Pro-choice..

It's very simple really....

there are times, when this freedom is a necessity.

I'll put a scenario out for some ppl..

let's say (and believe me, I know that most of you are in fact children... you're not fooling anyone btw...) that your 10 year old menstruating daughter got raped...got pregnant as a result of that rape...and you have financial difficulties and can not support doctor's bills or a baby... ( ?) should your daughter, or you as the decision making parent have the right to terminate that pregnancy if you choose too... and lastly, just to add to the situation, (all hypothetical of course) what if you're daughter's health or life was at stake.. add that one to the boiling pot...

I remember one time back in the day when i was a little young'n, i found some bird eggs on a nest. me being the stupid little boy i still am today picked one up and accidently dropped one and broke it. i was so devestated. Even though it had not naturally broke out of its egg to become a flying bird, or even though it still had to live inside the egg with the protecting mother keeping it warm, and all that mucus stuff in the egg along with all that other science mumbo jumbo. i was still devestated. And you many animal lovers out there would be too, even though its just a stupid bird, probably would have pooped on my freshly washed car too! But what is the difference between the little birdy in the egg, and a little one in a mothers womb?? I will tell you the difference, it is a huge one!!! one is a Human being, and the other is a stupid bird!! Abortion is murder!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I believe that abortion is the wrong way to go. Some women think that what is inside of them when they are pregnant is simply another part of their body which they can decide either to get rid of or to let out of their bodies when it is the right time. This notion is completely wrong. This "thing" is really a living person who has as much right to live as you and me. Thus, i believe that abortion should be considered as murder too.

I think I would vote pro-choice with restrictions - which would not be pro-choice but moving on..

I would vote for allowing the women who have medical needs(life of child or parent) or have been raped to abort the pregnancy. I don't think it should be used as a contraceptive as it is now but I also think it should be available to some extent. I don't think getting an abortion should be as easy as going to the store to get a condom .(as it is now)

life is not yours to mess with i believe that god is the only one who has the right to choose whether you live or not because he brought you to life in the first place. if people don't want children they should of thought of that from the start not 3 months into pregnancy. plus there are many methods for birth control there is no excuse for abortion in our age.

However, I do believe that if the father wishes to be a single parent and raise the baby on his own, he has the right to.

But there is no point bringing in unwanted children in the world, and there are enough children living in orphanages across the world.

I used to be pro-life, but when a female friend of mine was raped and became pregnant, I saw how being pregnant traumatized her all over again. I think that's the point where I changed and became pro-choice. I couldn't imagine having to carry the proof of what happened for months. She decided to have an abortion and I supported her decision.

I am against abortion it is Fu@#&*G MURDER!!!!!!!!!! from the time that baby is concieved it is alive and has a soul and is starting to learn, the brain is already working it is only being protected inside the mothers belly. i have seen pics of babeis being aborted and u can actually see them start crying when the needle touches them, it is so sad to abort babies when there are plenty of people who would luv to adopt, y kill an inocent baby it is THE PARENTS FAULT THEY GOT PREGNANT NOT THE BABIES, THE BABY SHOULDN'T BE PUNNISHED FOR THE MISTAKE OF SOMEONE ELSE, that is like giving an innocent bysander the death penalty just because they were there when someone got shot.

I believe that people, morally, should not have abortions. Imagine if Einstein's mom had an abortion, that's one more great mind we'd have missed out on. And if not for that reason, that is killing something that will one day be a person, and that's murder in the first. BUT, I am also pro choice, so I go both ways on the issue. You know the saying, "I don't agree with what you have to say, but I will defend with my life your right to say it." That's me.

It makes no logical sense to me to be "anti-choice" using a theological argument unless you also ban all forms of contraception (even "withdrawl").

Since a foetus cannot exist on its own before at least the end of the first trimester, it is silly to think it is a "person". Therefore I think these decisions belong only to the potential mother.

The arguments regarding "potential life" are ludicrous: should we start punishing every man who has "spilled seed in vain"?

I don't think think this issue even belongs in the political realm.

Pro-life, why killing something that doesn't know anything and
why didn't you play it safe, if you know that you don't want a child instead of killing a sinless thing without any idea of what's happening but remove a part of your life with a very abusive way, you know what abortion is a solution for stupids
and why should you abort your blessing from God without asking yourself a question "why your mother didn't abort you"
instead she gave you life and you also have to give another
foetus a life.

Abortion is wrong. The day the baby begins life is the day it becomes a person. It is wrong to kill people. Even if they are just 1 hour old. The bible says it is wrong and the bible is always true. God is not happy about abortion, but throught his grace and suffering on the cross the people that have abortions and the people that perform abortions are forgiven. If they accept the Lord Jesus as thier savior. In Jesus their is forgiveness, hope, happiness, and love. Just trust him with your life.

I am pro-life, and I am suprised anyone can be against "for-life." If anyone has a choice in a right to live, I think it should be a babies choice to live their own life. And the method that abortion uses is heartless, and disgusting. Seriously, anyone just yahoo image search the word abortion. You will see a fully developed baby with the body ripped into pieces and dumped into a trash can. I thought that was only done in horror movies, but it is not. It is done to babies every day. It really does make my heart hurt for those babies. I really am totally clueless into how there is a debate in America to whether it should be ok to kill a baby or not. It seems so obviously wrong to me.

I believe that abortion is NEVER the answer. Never. Never ever.
Women who have had abortions bear lifelong scars! If the girl is raped or can't raise a child, she should give it up for adoption. Which is better: killing the child or letting it be raised with another family?
Those babies are actually human beings, NOT just lumps of tissue.

Abortion is murder and never the answer.
