What paid/unpaid breaks am I entitled to ?

My hours are 8.30am - 5.30pm.
At the moment we are entitled to one 1/2 "lunch" break & 2 15 min lunch breaks - but no one ever takes them. Is this the minimum we are entitled to ?

The only "breaks" I am aware of under Federal guidelines, is that you must take a half hour, unpaid, break after a maximum of 5 hours. Other breaks are considered employer decisions. |

ok if in the uk you are only entitled to 1/2hr break for every 5hrs worked. Most employers give 15 mins break morning and afternoon but these are not legal requirements so you are not entitled to them they are discretionary and you cant add them up to take longer lunch etc. |
