what powers does a member of the Garda Reserve have and can they arrest? also is it worth joining the Garda Reserve it something I am interested in but I know the reserve is about helping out the local community but their any way you can get moved somewhere that no one knows you?

Great question!

No, they do not have arrest power, but they can be out after curfew and are permitted to pick tangerines in government-owned groves between 9 and noon on every Sunday in a month with an "R" in it. Note that this does not authorize the picking of other citrus fruit.

Best of all, Garda Reserves guys get all the girls. They are so hot!!!
