What country r u from and what punishment do they get in your country? Do you think its too leneant? If yes, what do you think they should get? I personally think they should be castrated.. Then put in prison for life..

I absolutely agree with you.
I'm from Canada, and we had the Paul Bernardo / Karla Homolka duo who kidnapped, brutally raped and murdered many young girls. They even made snuff films about their atrocities. These video tapes were presented during their trial, and the jury had to get psychological counseling after wards because they were so disturbing.
Homolka got off with only a few years in jail, because she made a deal. She is now roaming the streets free under a new identity. We are still very angry that she is free, because she assisted in the murder and rape of these girls including her own sister.
Bernardo is in a maximum security prison somewhere. He's inside for life.
This case remains indelible in our minds and we still harbour feelings of anger and frustration even though justice has been served. In cases like this, I feel that these people should have been eradicated from society. |

Why put them in prison for life, we just have to support them then.Rape is never just rape. It also includes assault and normally the victim is mentally damaged for the rest of their life.Many times physically also. I think we should put them to death. Thirty days after trial, like Suden. We need to quit playing games in our court system and get serious.No evidence should be held back and if someone is found to, Let them spend 10 years in. |

I'm in USA where they don't get much punishment. In my perfect world, rapists would be castrated and emasculated, without anesthetic.

I'm in the US, and I don't know exactly what the punishment is here, but it's too lenient. I think they should get life in prison. I wouldn't do castration, though, because then if you found out later that they were actually innocent, that could be embarrassing.
It looks like most of the castration advocates are women. I wonder how they'd feel if we started mutilating female prisoners. Especially if they were then wrongly convicted of something. |

One month in a cell.
naked.
Tied spread eagle and face down.
When ever the rape victim needs therapy, she comes in with a police baton, and vents her frustrations.
Whenever she needs the therapy.
For one month.
The tax payers will not have to foot a large room and board bill; the rape victim will feel vindicated and have closure; and it is doubtful that the sorry sack of **** will ever assault anyone ever again. |

I think that they should be forced to lean over a table chained in place and rapped over and over. Then secured to a chair, their legs forced apart and anything dangling be removed with a pair of rusty, dull shears. Then enjoy the rest of their lives in jail. |
