What questions will a child welfare lawyer ask a parent in court?

please only from those who have been to court and experienced this them selves
Additional Details
well my story is sooo long. i have had my child in care for two years, it waas my choice so i could go to treatment...it started as a custody agreement then went to intern...it remained longer cause i advocated for a lawyer for my son through the childrens advocate and that delayed court for 5 months...and then trail was continued another 6 months later...i have been sober for two years and have been taking dbt for 7 months. in spite of all my progress my social worker wants pgo. my psychiatrist and therapist are going to court in my favor, my son is 6 and has some significant behavioral issues. i have had a inhome worker for a tear and a half and have had supervised visits all of which was found to be good.my social worker has sabotaged every thing i do. and has no conscience when it comes to twisting storiesmy son has been in seven foster homes and three schools, with out any cause my visits went from 68 hours to 21 a month

That would completely depend on what the parent is in court for and what the investigation is all about. Not enough information.

Well...if that is all true then you should really get yourself a good lawyer. Legal aid possibly could help you. They are definitely going to ask all about the substance abuse, and they might make you take random drug tests. They are going to weight the good things about your parenting skills against the bad, and make a decision. You will absolutely have to prove that you should have custody of your child back. With him having behavioral problems it could make it significantly more difficult for you. If you are going to court to try to get custody then you will have to prove your case...that everything in your life is stable. They are likely to ask you just about any question you can imagine they will ask. They will definitely be thorough. Make sure your image is spotless when you go in there. If you are just trying to get your visitation hours increased, they may not be as brutal. You need to prove that his behavioral problems are due to his being shuffled from foster home to foster home, and that he would be in better hands with you. Just know..that EVERYTHING they have ever accused you of, they will grill you on! Be prepared for a battle.
