I work at an auto dealership's parts department. A few times a year a scrap metal recycler comes by and pays us money for scrap metal. I work for Infiniti. Jeff works for Toyota. Jeff claimed that the Infiniti scrap metal was his and received about $1500.00 in cash. He told his boss he got $100 and gave it to him to share with the other employees. He is friends with the scrap man. What would you do if you worked with someone like this?

Maybe Jeff is just bragging and there is no truth in what he is saying. Or maybe he is telling the truth. In either case, you cannot be sure what he really did since you were not there to witness the transactions. If I were you, I will not get involve in it. If he is dishonest, he will get caught sooner than later. |

There's not too much you can do unless there is a record of it. This kind of thing happens everywhere. People are corrupt and greedy. If there were some way you could enlighten Jeff's boss and remain anonymous, do that. The boss may start using someone else to sell the scrap off. Maybe type a note and mail it from another town, it's the only way I see. |
