If you are the father, then pay. I hate people who think that they can go around having kids then not have to pay for them. We have enough deadbeat dads out there, do you want to be one of them? Man up, do the right thing.

If it is not your kid, then prove it in a court of law. You won't have to pay anything unless you adopt the child.

Get paid under the table so that the court can never verify your income and therefore never rule that you pay a specific amount. That's what my deadbeat father did.

He shouldn't use any. He should man up and pay for the kids support. My wife's ex, and father of my three step kids is a deadbeat dad. The kids are grown now, but he still owes so much back child support he could never pay it off in this lifetime.
His game was to get a job, and when the child support office found him and started taking out child support, my wife would get one, maybe two checks and he quit. Moved to another town, and got another job.
He tried working as a sub contractor so he wouldn't get hit with the child support, but when they filed a 1099 on him, the IRS found him.

I would double-check this information. I am not qualified to give legal advice.
1) The kids turn 18, or become legal adults.

2) The mother remarries.

3) The father successfully uses a DNA test to prove he is not the father.

4) The father dies.

5) The mother (actually, the court) agrees that the father is no longer responsible to pay child support.

obviously it depends why you do not want to pay child support.
if you are a father then you should pay toward your children.
if you are worried about the mother taking the money then offer to pay money into a bank account for the child or offer to give a gift card every month/week for example an asda gift card that way the mother can buy food, toys or clothing that the child may require.
my ex refused to pay for our children it has been nearly years and my eldest wants nothing to do with him now, if you do care about your child then do make sure that you let them know that and only refuse your child if you have genuine reason, there can sometimes be other ways,
my husband now gives money to the grandparents for his daughter so that her mother doesn't take it all
