What would you do if someone started making threats to you in public and around little kids?

Get away from them as quick as possible. Since there are kids around, I would not want to aggravate the situation more, and have it escalate. But I would definitely report the person.

I have no idea what the little kids have to do with it, but if i was being publically threatened, I'd have the azzhole arrested.

go to your local police department and file a restraining order.

File a police report so that there's evidence of the individual having made threats in case something happens in the future. Now if they're witnesses the police could get their statements and possibibly arrest the individual. Then you can apply for a restraining order.

tie him/her to my luggage rack,slather mayonnaise all over him and stick a large hard roll in his mouth,put two cherry tomato's in his/her nostrils and squeeze pepporincini juice in his/her eyes,I would drive around the plaza down town several times honking and waving,with all my friends on the sidewalks around the plaza throwing potato's at him/her,then just about the time this is border-line( for a citizens arrest or perhaps someone that law enforcement should in fact arrest themselves),I would drive him/her to the cop shop,and explain the violation,as I see it,and the mere fact that he was in that condition when I found him.

let the local cops know what is going on and request they have a little talk with the guy. They probably will and then if anything should happen to you, he knows that he will be the first one they look at.

Keep my cool and walk away from them as quickly as possible. I'd make sure I didn't go somewhere alone until I got back to my car. If I knew them and couldn't walk away from them, I'd call the police.

i would ask them to leave and refusel will to do so will result in law action, and then if he refuse i would take my kids out of that situation and contact proper authorities
