ok a serial-killer was sentenced to death, and while he was walking to his death room he get sicks he falls down, so the cops took him to the hospital and the doctor is you, so u find out that he only have 2 hours left to die, but u can save him. so would u save him or let him die? i mean if u save him he will still be killed, so would u let him die or save him and let the cops do the work?

People in this society have become so nonsensical and backward in their thinking it is unbelievable.
The man is about to be killed....just finish him off already and quit wasting time and money on a lost cause. |

A doctor takes an OATH to save any life they can. So yes I would save the person. Who is to say the Governor won't call and grant clemency at the last minute? Even if they didn't by not trying to save the life I am breaking my oath, and could get punished if proven. |

The hippocratiac oath says "above all, do no harm". If doing nothing results in harm, same thing. A provider should do what they can to care for the patient and let the courts and law enforcement do what they will. |

I would let him sit in my office waiting room until I decided to come out slowly and then I would tell him that we needed to perform some tests to see what the best treatment would be. I would slowly and meticulously check his pulse, his blood pressure, his eyes, his ears, his heart, etc. and the time would be passing all along. Then I would tell him that I could get the medication he needed but that it had to be ordered and would be sent over ASAP. I would place an order with the local pharmacy and ask them if they would mind sending it over when they had the opportunity. If all went well, the man would die without having to endure treatment of any sort and the taxpayers would save the money it would have taken to put him to death. |

let him die there's no point in saving him if he is a serial killer and he is going to die in 2 hours anyway. besides who is going to pay for the bills when you save him and he dies, the taxpayers that's who just save everyone the trouble and let him die |

I would definitely save him, because that is my job, that is exactly why I became a doctor for. As a doctor, I have to provide treatment to any of my patient and will not let any moral or religious beliefs stand inbetween. And of course, if proven I could be punished. It is not my job to give a death sentence to him, besides I wouldn't even know about the case, so I can't justify if he really deserved death. Who knows he could be innocent, and may be proved in the last minute. |
