REMEMBER HINDU FUNDAMENTALIST WILL NEVER DIVIDE INDIA BUT IT IS EXACTLY OPPOSITE. real patriots (RSS, VHP )are always suppressed by saying that they are dividing india on basis of religion. and don't listen to FUNDED media.

ask these "secular parties" that who divided india earlier and on what basis.

hindu population is decreasing rapidly( due to forced conversions) and very high birth rate in muslims.
according to a survey if the same trend continues HINDUS WILL BECOME MINORITY IN 2060.

in mizoram hindus form just 3.6% of total population and 7.1% in nagaland according to 2001 census( probably by now they have vanished entirely).hindus are already minority in kashmir & on the verge of becoming minority in assam and other north eastern states due to increasing bangladeshi infiltration and forced conversions by church.
but unfortunately no "SECULAR" party appeases the minority hindus like minorities are appeased in rest of india.

States like Assam & West Bengal , muslims form 30% to 49% percent of the population , theyu are all from bangladesh.

Till 1969, when Indira Gandhi was expelled from Indian National congress and got her rump expanding by liberal (mis)use of money and power and gain political legitimacy by getting the symbol of INC for her group, from the EC, on the basis of no law to govern this situation, and then started accusing the real party the INC (O), as hobnobbing with 'communal' elements and giving up principles of 'socialism', there was no accusation against any political party in India as being communal. Neither Jawaharlal Nehru nor Lal Bahadur Shastri nor any of the then stalwarts of Congress ever accused even Hindu Maha Sabha, the RSS and the Bharatiya Jan Sangh as communal. In 1971, there was a 'grand alliance', in which several parties joined hands with Jan Sangh, which even the self-styled leftist and/or secular parties did not criticise as 'communal'.
When the lie of Congress even on the floor of the house that Loknayak Jayaprakash Narayan was not lathi-charged, on November 4th 1974, was exposed by the publication of a photograph by ace photographer Raghu Rai in 'the Statesman' showing a lathi wielded by a policeman directly hitting the mid-head of JP, the tongue-in-cheek statement by Brahmananda Reddy, the then home minister as " Our information is that JP was not hit; if Jp says he was hit, then we say we are sorry", which is no apology at all as anyone knowing English can understand, the nation was outraged by the blatant autocracy in the offing, (which proved true in 1975-77). The investigative journalists brought the whole story into light that when JP was directly attacked, it was Nanaji Deshmukh, who took the blow in his hand and suffered permanent disability of his hand as a result of fractures, while saving JP. This 'communal' man's suffering kept JP alive, so that he could wage the war of second independence in 1977, which was a peaceful revolution by ballot, and the fruits of which we are all enjoying today savouring the freedom of democracy.
After the Gupta dynasty's rule in history, called the golden age by historians, it was the 1977-79, rule of Morarjibhai Desai, in which the 'communal' Atal Behari Vajpayee and Lal Krishna Advani were the leading lights and non-controversial real performers, that India had a second 'golden age', economically, politically, educationally and culturally.
Again the 'communal' Vajpayee's rule for six years adopted the Chola-Pandya-Pallava king's economic model of full employment for unskilled and semi-skilled vast multitude of population, by ushering in 'golden quadrilateral' projects, which would provide sustainable opportunity for 'purchasing power' for the poor, with dignity and not charity (as the Tamilnadu parties are presently engaged in their combative oneupmanship politics) for generation after generation. (the kings adopted massive temples as projects for sustainable employment which was modified as roads by Vajpayee, in-keeping with the needs of the times).
Today, the BJP is the whipping boy of Indian politics, a convenient scapegoat for the self-styled progressives, to camouflauge their bankruptcy of vision. Uniform civil code has been implemented even in Islamic countries but resisted in India. If implemented, it would reduce social tensions as well as reduce litigations. Art.370 is a double-edged weapon; on the one hand it postpones indefinitely the emotional integration of Kashmir with India, and on the other a convenient tool for Kashmiri politicians to sustain their divisive politics on the basis of what is called 'kashmiriyat', by inflaming populace spiced-up intermittently, with blatant communalism. Temple at Ayodhya, is an emotional issue which, though a complicated one, can be solved but sustained for political purposes of all the parties.
All parties including BJP have complied with the Constitutional requirement of political declaration endorsing the constitution, especially its preamble (which as of now includes the amendment in 1976, adding the words 'secular' and 'socialistic'), which are elastic enough defying Pascal's Law of physics in politics.

k sadvoc has written the best answer.it is an eye opener.there is nothing communal.what is good for the interests of people is not communa.in reality congress is the most communal party.its love for moslems is more for huge petro dollars that it get and stash away in swiss banks.manmohan did nit raise the swiss bank money matter in g20 meet.that shows that congress is fully corrupt and mostly has its black money there.no pol [arty shd be given a permanent mandate.congress had its time now for another 5 years we need change.

Pleasing (Minorities) Muslim and Christians is not communal. Trying to get the rights of Hindus is Communal. I think the person who has raised this doubt doesnt understand that he is in a county which is democratically corrupt by bueracats who have ruined our country. Look how Uttar Pradesh is? What was Bihar before Nitesh? Railways went to profit because of Nitish and not Lallu.

IS it right to please muslims and christians if your answer is Yes then What BJP is doing is also right

What BJP is doing is not communal. If asking for uniform civil code is communal then it is communal, if asking to remove article 370 from the constitution is communal then it is communal, if it asks to hang Afzal Guru and if some someone says its communal then it is communal. And there are many more such issues the BJP asks for, not just the Ram Mandir, and asking for anything like that is not communal, its just the propoganda by congress to ensure its vote in the elections. Infact the way congress appease muslims is communal.

My Fun

No sensible person appreciates communal politics. Dividing people of a country on the basis of religion and caste is the worst thing that can be done.

People get polarised permanantly and begin to be suspecious of one another. Unity and team work brings in prosperity.

If we divide our society by suspectedly accepting huge bribes from spy organizations of enemy countries like China and Pakistan, gains are only temporary. The country will fall sooner or later.

Even the mighty Soviet empire was destroyed by American spy organizations through no one less than their Presdent Gorbechov. We are far more vulnerable than the Soviet Union.

The good news is that educated people with common sense do not support communalism, irrespective of the religon they belong too.

THE COURT IN ITS RECENT RULING SAID THAT RELIGIOUS EXTREMISM IS NO BETTER THAN TERRORISM.
