Abortion is not a simple thing, and I have known many who live with that choice the rest of their lives. Then there are others who think it is ok to use this as their mean of protection, and they could care less.
I would think it is a good choice if the person has been raped, or if it is a child who knows they are incapable of giving the baby what it needs. |

to me... i think NEVER but if you get raped by random people one day and you happen to get pregnant then thats the only time i would say okay... an abortion is okay. |

It's really too subjective to have a definite answer. When the woman feels it's the best choice for her, that's when it would be a good choice. Or you could just be a sheep and say, never abortion is murder!!!! There are many factors that go into making that kind of decision, and the government and those on their high horses have no place in it. |

Hey,
This is a really hard question to answer, especially as it is based on personal opinions and your scenario...but I'd say it's a good choice when you are definetely not ready to have a baby. Say you couldn't afford to look after it, are to young or are just not emotionally ready. There are other options though, such as having the child and then giving it away for adoption like in 'Juno'.

I even hate to say the word abortion, it's worse than the N word. But, if a parent forces a 12 or 13 year old baby girl to carry a baby for nine months after being raped by a monster, I think that parent is just as disgusting, loathsome and sorry as the monster that raped her.
Just think how horrible that would be for a child to carry a baby for 9 months and then have to go through the birth of a baby due to a horrible rape. You people that would put a child through this are disgusting |

When its the only choice you have. There are choices of course like adoption but if for some reason its better to abort then its the choice you have to make- but it will stay with you for ever.
Better reasons to abort- child will have heavy medical issues, child is a result of incest, you are going to die in the process of delivering the child or carrying the baby. |

When the mother's health is seriously jeopardized by the pregnancy, or when a woman is raped.
Those are the only two situations I can think of. Otherwise it just becomes an issue of personal convenience. |

I don't think a baby should ever be aborted. If it's the subject of rape, it's still not the baby's fault, is it? If it's the subject of rape... Why not let it be born, and give it to a family who is unable to conceive a baby, and who you think will take good care of it? Even if the mother doesn't want the baby, she could still give it to someone who does, and never have to see it again. |

Never.
Some people will argue that a rape victim that falls pregnant should have an abortion.
However, there is a difference in being a Victim and a Victor.
By aborting the baby, the mother endures another devastating event. But by having the baby she becomes victorious in the situation - even if the baby is given up for adoption - because a baby is a new beginning and a beautiful thing.
I do not believe in abortion full stop. And I'm attending my first pro-life rally in February next year :) |
